Common questions
How is an operating partner different from an outside adviser?
An adviser brings recommendations and leaves. I work inside the company 1–2 days a week alongside your team. My job is to make the system work, not to write a report about it.
How long does it take?
The company map takes two weeks. Building takes 6 to 18 months, 1–2 days a week. The length depends on the size of the company and on how much of your day you want back.
Who makes the decisions?
You do. I propose, show the figures and the consequences, and build the means of carrying decisions through. The decisions remain with the owner.
What happens once the system is built?
My team keeps the system running: reporting, rhythms, follow-through on execution. Experts from my network join for strategy and adjustments. You receive a summary and make the decisions.
